Dr Matias Anghileri
Graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a specialization in Orthodontics and Functional Orthopedics. A certified Damon System Educator, he is a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists and the Asociación Iberoamericana de Ortodoncistas. He formerly served as a Professor of Orthodontics at the Universidad de Morón, Argentina, and has been a speaker at the Sociedad Argentina de Ortodoncia, as well as at various Damon System courses across the country. Notably, he was the first Argentinian speaker at the USA Forum in 2016, 2017, and 2018, and the first Latin American to speak at the 2017 European Damon Forum in Monaco. His international experience includes speaking engagements at Damon courses in Russia, Spain, Italy, Canada, France, Poland, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Israel, the Netherlands, Sweden, and across Latin America.
Dr Enzo Pasciuti
Graduated in Dentistry in Milan in 2004, he specialized in Orthodontics in 2007 at the same university, where he remained as a contract professor until 2012. Since 2014, he has been the owner of an orthodontic practice in Tradate (VA), where he has treated over 3500 patients with clear aligners. Since 2018, he has been giving courses on aligners, attended by more than 1,800 Italian colleagues. He has been invited as a speaker to the most important international events on aligners (EAS, Sialign, TPAO), and has held courses and lectures in over 25 different countries around the world. In 2019, he obtained the Italian Board of Orthodontic Aligner (IBOA) and the European Board of Orthodontists (EBO), and in 2023, he achieved the European Board of Aligner Orthodontics (EBAO).
Prof. Dr. Anmol S Kalha
Prof. Anmol S. Kalha is currently the Professor Emeritus, Distinguished Professor, and Advisor on Research and Policy at the Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences, a prestigious accredited institution in India. He also serves as Associate Director and Advisor to Max Healthcare, with specific interests in adult and aesthetic orthodontics, dental sleep medicine, oral pain, and diagnostics. Additionally, he is the founder and chief architect of a key health tech platform for AI, real-world evidence, and research analytics.
Prof. Kalha has received numerous accolades, including the Order of the Special Royal Emblem from HM, the Sultan of Oman, for distinguished services, as well as multiple lifetime achievement awards from the FDI, SFDS, Indian Orthodontic Society, and other institutions.
He has held fellowships at Karl Eberhardt University, Tübingen, Germany, and been a member of the Evidence-Based Dentistry/Evidence-Based Medicine (EBD/EBM) program at Oxford. Prof. Kalha is also a visiting professor at several international universities and has collaborated with leading figures in orthodontics, working on MBT, TADs, lingual orthodontics, self-ligation, and evidence-based dentistry.
Dr Gurkeerat Singh
Dr. Gurkeerat Singh is a graduate and postgraduate from the prestigious Mangalore College of Dental Surgery, a constituent of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal. He completed his M.Orth in 2001 and is registered with the Royal College of Surgeons, London, as well as the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He is a Diplomate of the Indian Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Singh has authored over five dozen publications in various Indian and foreign journals, as well as notable textbooks, including “The Textbook of Orthodontics,” the first full-color textbook on the subject by an Indian author, and “Mini Atlas on Orthodontics.” He has lectured in over 30 countries on various topics at national and international conferences and student conventions.
Dr M S Kannan
Dr. Kannan earned his master’s degree from AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, in 2002. With 20 years of experience in private practice in Chennai, Dr. Kannan has been associated with Sree Balaji Dental College for 17 years, currently serving as the Head of the Department.
He presented a paper at the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, on September 23, 2015, at the Mid-Year Convention of the Indian Orthodontic Society, held in conjunction with the Royal College of Edinburgh. Additionally, Dr. Kannan conducted an APAC Webinar for Ormco on the topic “Philosophy of Damon”.
Dr Venkatesh Garla
Dr. Venkatesh Garla completed his MDS in Orthodontics from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, in 2006. He further specialized with an M.Orth from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
He is the Founder and Clinical Director at Smylife Dental, Bengaluru, since 2018. Currently, he serves as a faculty member at Oxford Dental College, Bangalore.
Dr. Garla has been lecturing on various topics, with a special interest in the Damon philosophy
Dr Diego Marin
Dr Diego Marin completed his Postgraduate program in Orthodontics at Pontifical Javeriana University in Bogota-Colombia, in 2012 and practiced as an Orthodontist for five years in different practices using braces and clear aligners to treat a wide range of malocclusions. He was also a university tutor in Orthodontics and Temporomandibular Disorders at Javeriana University during this time. In October 2017, Dr Marin migrated to Australia and worked in an Orthodontic practice for almost three years in Adelaide, supporting the principal orthodontist with clear aligner case planning. Since February 2022 Dr Marin has been an integral part of the Spark ANZ and Emerging Markets teams as Clinical Specialist where he supports Doctors in achieving their treatment plan goals using Approver™ Software for Spark™ Clear Aligners and Ormco™ Digital Bonding, with a focus to enhance the communication process between Doctors and Design Teams.
Dr Shrikant Shendre
Dr. Shrikant Shendre completed his BDS in 1996 from Govt Dental College and his MDS in 2000 from SDM Dental College. He obtained his M Orth RCPS (London) in January 2001 and M Orth RCS (Edinburgh) in July 2001. Dr. Shrikant was a former professor at the Oxford Dental College, where he worked for 23 years. He started his own practice, Soham Smile Centre, as center head and director in 2013 at HSR Layout, Bangalore. His areas of interest are mini-implant orthodontics, the Damon philosophy, and aligners.
Dr B S Chandrashekar
Dr. B S Chandrashekhar completed his Master’s degree from GDCRI, Bangalore in 2002. He has been associated with Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences since 2006 and is presently working as a Professor. He has publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals. He has been an invited speaker at various CDE programs and has made presentations at IOS conferences. His specific areas of interest are Damon self-ligating appliances, Advansync, and aligner orthodontics. He is a visiting consultant to Al Arab Dental Surgery, RAK, UAE, and is one of the Directors of Brace Station (center for advanced orthodontic care), Bangalore.
Dr Hrushikesh Aphale
Dr. Hrushikesh Aphale is a board-certified orthodontist. He is a Diplomate of the prestigious Indian Board of Orthodontics and a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists. Dr. Aphale completed a mini-residency program under Dr. Hyo-Sang Park from Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea. He has delivered lectures at numerous national conferences and conventions and has many published papers in national and international journals. Dr. Aphale has co-authored three textbooks on various topics in his specialty. His original research was awarded the KG Kannapan Best Dissertation award in 2011 at a national level. Currently, he is a Professor and postgraduate guide at SMBT Dental College, Sangamner. Dr. Aphale practices at his clinic, ‘Dental Concepts’, in Nashik, focusing on exclusive orthodontics with a special emphasis on state-of-the-art technologies like Aligners, TADs, adult/interdisciplinary orthodontics, and customized braces.
